I'm cleaning out the garage and have two old boards that I need to get rid of. The first is a Cobra Slalom 270 from 1987 or so and is in good shape for it's age. The second is a Bic Saxo 260 from 1996. It is structurally fine, but all of the paint and pads are pealing off. I'm going to take them to the dump, but wanted to see if there was anyone in the CT area that might want to take them first. |

I put an ugly Bic Salsa on the roadside by my home with a big FREE sign on it. It was gone in 32 minutes. No muss, no fuss, no fin, no uni, and no dump charge. Who know what they'll use it for.... |

I've found that human nature, being the way it is, putting a sign on something you wanna get rid of that says $20 gets it gone faster than if you put "free" on it. _________________ Kansas City |

I never tried the $20 trick. Thanks! Last year I put out a whole bunch of really old windsurfing gear on bulk trash pickup day and it went fast. I did wonder what they wanted it for. I never see anyone windsurfing with any of it around here. |
