ICE, the parent company of NoLimitz claims to be the only mast line manufactured in the USA. Wondering if Ezzy & Chinook outsource to ICE, some off shore maker or manufacture their masts in company owned non-USA facilities?

No Limitz user for a few years. Tough, functional, durable masts. Unfortunately the "local" shop is not a NoLimitz dealer.

Outside of Chinook and Aeron. Who makes booms today? Noticed that RRD has a couple sizes of T-9 aluminum booms. Look similar to the Aeron MCT26 T-9 booms. Aeron rebranded?

Regarding your first question about who makes Ezzy and Chinook masts, I can say that ICE/No Limitz currently makes the Ezzys. I don't know about Chinook.

You can buy a No limitz mast direct from their facility in White Salmon, WA, or you can elect to buy them from a retail shop like Big Winds in Hood River, OR. As a plus, you can buy just a top or a bottom section to mix and match or to replace a broken section. However, I doubt that you can mix and match No Limitz and Ezzy mast sections, as I recollect that Ezzys have the ferrel attached in the top rather than in the bottom section.

Chinook makes their booms in the US, don't know about the masts. could be No Limitz. and chandler in correct, ezzy and nolimitz are not interchangeable in parts. as he said, the ferrule is on the top piece on ezzy and on the bottom on the NoLimitz.

Chinook masts are made in Eastern Europe, Slovenia, Slovakia, one of those Borat countries.
Probably the same place the new Hot sail masts are made.

Are Chinook booms made, or just assembled from offshore components, in the U.S.?

When I visited the factory they were making all the metal parts and casting all the plastic parts in house. They bought the laid carbon arms, ext tubes, sailboat battens, and masts from outside.
Sails are Ezzys, I always thought the masts were too but never asked.

Chinook's carbon boom tubes are made by carbon creations according to Frank Haas co founder and former general partner of No Limitz, They were operating in the Gorge, now I'm not sure.

I think the Kona masts and booms are made by Epic. I looked for a "made in" sticker on my mast, but didn't see one. Anyone know where Epic gear is made? My Fiberspar Reflex Carbon says made in Finland.

Before they got cancelled, I was hoping Windsurfing Magazine would do a "Made in the USA" rig test. If you are in the Gorge, it would be pretty easy to get a Northwave Sail with a NoLimitz Mast, Chinook Carbon Boom, and a board from North Pacific, Cascade, or Open Ocean that were all made locally.

NoLimitz masts are made in White Salmon, WA. We also produce Ezzy masts here.

Definitely do not make chinook masts, those are made in some far off land. BORAT!!!! Chinook's aluminum booms are made elsewhere also, they are imported.

Support your own countries production, buy in the USA.

Support an american company, with real US engineering, US supplied materials, and US labor. It is amazing how it all trickles down.
