This is how the most popular magazine in Germany portrays Obama today...
Even Germans Now Hate Obama
HAMBURG (BHN) - The latest issue of Germany's Der Spiegel magazine features a cover story on President Obama's plummeting popularity in that country.
Obama was wildly popular in Germany when elected, but "after three and half years of watching him stumble from one bad decision to another, he looks less presidential and more like an arrogant community organizer who smoked too much pot," according to the article |

No, that is how Der Spiegel portrays him today. I think the poles are catching up to his antics though.... |

I seriously doubt that that magazine cover ever existed. |

This is a fun thread. A German leader says something critical about an American President, while polls show how loved that man is and some guys conclude that all Germans hate Obama.
A German guy staying here got a big laugh out of Americans who make a big deal out of something Merkel said, while he and the rest of the German people watch the ball game instead. |

Do you think the Poles took a poll to catch up?

If I were German, I would find it pretty insulting for an American to suggest that the majority of my countrymen are disengaged from the political process a few weeks ahead of a general election, and care less about the opinions of their Chancellor.........arguably the most powerful woman in the world........than they do about some "ball game" (a term they would never use). Fiction has to be believable to be effective. |

Oh look, he's back, and insisting that he's smarter than everyone else. He's also more religious, so gets special dispensation for the insults. |
