Another fun day at Natural Bridges although the wind was more up and down.
Five windsurfers out at various times and one kiter. Windsurfing sails ranged from 4.7 to 5.8.

4th: Very nice late summer day with RRD 100 and Firelight 6.0. I had to periodically stay quite inside because of the stronger conditions in the channel, but that is one the nice things about Coyote: you can often pick and choose wind strength. Great day overall, always well powered, the 6.0 Firelight feels like a 5.2 in the transitions, and like a 6.5 at the bottom end. About 10-12 people out, mostly with smaller sails with the exception of a slalom sailor that I saw do a duck jibe with a cambered sail ... oh well ...
Day after, Sep 5th, windier, south westerly. Out with a 5.0/85. Great day, occasionally overpowered but otherwise almost ideal conditions. Very nice smooth smallish swell south of Embassy, and big breaking rollers way outside

Unexpected good sunset session at Crissy yesterday: launched my usual 105/5.2 combo, but (as usual) I could have done with 10l less on the south side and 0.5 sail less on the north side.
Granted I get there late (more so with the AC), but I'm always surprised of how few sailors take advantage of a warm, ebbing PM like that.
Some folks launched from Marin, because they were clearly on small gear; wind (and voodoo chop) was rocking over there.

A very nice morning on the river, sailing a 75L board and 4.7 sail with swimming pool temperature water and warm breeze. The ramps weren't exceptional but the wind was really good and held up for the late morning max ebb tide.

Anybody sail any San Luis Reservoir windsurf spots today? Howazit? Any recommendations for never-sailed-there people for tomorrow?

Blown off the water at San Luis on a 4.7
Arrived at 1:30 and it was pretty good already one person sailing from the other side. The weed condition is not that bad . I asked at the ranger station and they have been cutting some of it . Still you need a weed fin.
