We are still expecting Tropical Storm Humberto to send some enhanced swell by this weekend and into early next week. Mid-period ENE swell reaches the Windward/Leeward Islands by Sunday, filling in towards Puerto Rico on Monday. The East Coast will begin to see some mid-period ESE swell fill in on Tuesday and Wednesday.
For now, the swell from Humberto is expected to remain in the water through the end of next week and into the following weekend. The longer Humberto continues to churn in the Atlantic, the more swell we will see. Be sure to check back as we continue to monitor to closely monitor the system for any changes.- Katie Spagnolo and the Surfline East Coast Forecast Team

There is still time to get here........ But don't delay!
Registration and meet and greet begin tonight at 7PM at Wind-NC
Tomorrow looks like a lay-day- check the UJs, clean the monofilm, etc...
Free Clinic with World Champ Kevin Pritchard and the World Premiere of NEW HAWAII with Fabrice Beaux starts Monday night at 7 PM at Wind-NC
And then........... Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday....
It's ON!! Side off, down the line, port tack gnar gnar!! Big enough to get your heart pumping, but spaced out enough that newbies will keep their hair dry on the way out....

4th in Pro division by Andy of Wind N-C
2nd place , Masters Mike Wazenski
Ken of Ocean Air and Casy of the the Rum..err Reef Warriors all place in spectacular manner !!
congratulations to all !!
Both the amateur and masters divisions were tight battles. The Am final featured George Marcopoulos, Ken Ahrendt, Ian Stokes and Casey Treichler. Marcopoulos sailed well this entire event finishing just off the podium in 4th place. Ahrendt of the local shop Ocean Air not only kept many visiting riders stoked by lending them gear but sailed a strong heat to finish in 3rd position. The top spot came down to a close fight between young gun Stokes and the "Reef Warrior" Treichler. Both these guys know this wave very well and had the perfect gear to suit the conditions. In the end Treichler found the better set-wave to rip apart giving him the Am Wave Jam title.
The Masters final featured a 4-man heat of Dave Kashy, Gordy Stokes, Ken Keller and Mike Wazenski. All had been sailing very well through the competition and in the end Kashy took the top podium spot over Wazenski (2nd), Keller (3rd) and Stokes (4th).
