Fast times posted when the summer winds clock over towards the S more, so you're essentially broad reaching the whole way from GG to Bay bridges.
Something you can do on Southerly storms, or Northerly clearing winds in the winter.
I've windsurfed both, going from Ft.Mason to Crissy at full reaching speeds, maybe 27 mph on southerlies...much slower on Northerlies |

Kai Lenny is definitely not as fast as Johnny Heineken. But Johnny can't touch 48 miles an hour on a deep reach like an AC72--even on his foiling board. |
