yeah most likely your best bet,
be cautious of the rocks just south of the jetty / viewing area
other than that wide open |

Usually little or no shore break, plenty of room if you drift downwind, and the waves tend to form nicely as they wrap around the wooden jetty. This is on a northeast of course. If the wind is too North, it gets a shadow from the beach which can make launching difficult. Also, no guards to contend with during the season.

Thanks SM. I can see on google maps how the set up makes for longer runs as the jetty helps the wave form and also creates a cove for a longer ride. |
