Alex Jones is a piece of work. I can't imagine listening to such paranoia and nonsense. After he got off the phone with McAfee, he just ramped up the craziness, even crapping on the crux of his argument. He wants to go and protest at abortion clinics and basically breakdown the privacy between women, their bodies, and the relationship between their doctor. What a con man. |

The point isn't whether Alex Jones is crazy. It is McAfee saying this is worse than 1984 by Orwell.
They have our medical records. They have drones that autonomously make kill decisions. They have NSA meta-data and our phone records. They have satellites. And they have easy access to our computer hard drives. And they have the IRS.
Just to be clear. If you mind your own business and don't make waves, you're ok. But if you are George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, you are toast. There will be no revolution. There will be no resistance. If you think this is something that can be won at the ballot box, don't be fooled. There are too many useful idiots who vote out there. |

Bard is right.
Anyone planning a armed revolution against the gov needs to worry about their communications.
Or they could oppose the government in a legal way like many groups do now and they are OK. |

Yes, peaceful protests have done a great job in so many ways. Especially civil rights. I am however worried that the media will not pick up important issued like they used to. This is really what we should worry about.
Journalist: Obama Admin is ‘Most Closed, Control-Freak Administration I’ve Ever Covered’
by Warner Todd Huston
In a long piece revealing the current antagonistic climate between journalists and the Obama administration published in the Washington Post, Obama is called a “control-freak,” as well as “secretive,” and “manipulative,” it is said he is fostering an atmosphere of fear both at home and abroad, and is delivering a “slap in the face” to reporters all over his increased use of electronic surveillance of reporters.
The piece is an excerpt of a paper by former executive editor of The Washington Post, Leonard Downie, who is currently the Weil family professor of journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.
Downie’s piece is extraordinary in how it paints Obama as a paranoid, secretive, even vindictive president not to mention that it reveals that journalists have become afraid of their own shadows for fear that Obama is spying on them. |

Pols have long ago learned that the pen is mightier than the sword.
If they screw with journalists they write terrible opinions about them in response.
The only saving grace is that real journalists like this guy don't make up facts, they just state opinions. |
