I knew you would recognize me with my weed fin.

Next time you see Darren, tell him to stop wearing that stupid beaver hat. These animals are dumb, I've got pictures to prove it.

Cheers! (even though I heard Uthans are not allowed to drink Wink )

Ok, you want a first hand experience, here's mine with a Quad board.

Just by our reading it, it inherently becomes secondhand/hearsay. Apparently that's not clear to many people.

It's also anecdotal ... one man's experience and preferences, biases and all.

I'll take my information from any and every available source, and use my head to weigh it all out.

BTW, my time online is not only not (inherently) a waste of my time; just the opposite, it's more fun and mind-altering than sleeping, eating, sitting around waiting for wind, most movies, EVERY beer I ever met ... almost anything but planing on terrain. YMMV.

The futile part was arguing politics. The other political persuasion is not rational, pure and simple.

The reward which offsets the futility is when strangers walk up to me on the beach, introduce themselves, and start gushing about how much I've helped them progress in windsurfing and/or how much they enjoy reading my posts. That offsets the slings and arrows from the whiners and control freaks.

Why do you re-direct this thread on you, isobars?

Read the title.

It was a direct, relevant, thoughtful response to two questions you wrote, one of them addressed to me by name, twice, by the thread's OP. Please pardon Craig for being so bold in his own thread.

Why he posted the thread in the political forum escapes me, but that's his choice.

I actually posted this in the Northwest Forum, but the mods moved it here.

Methinks the troll doth protest too much.
