Saw something on TV tonight about tests done to determine those conditions which seem most to provoke a shark attack.
They are: SPLASHING (being at or near the surface), RAPID MOVEMENTS, the color YELLOW, NOISE (like talking), BLING (shiny jewelry), and DAWN/DUSK.
Some of the testers were wearing wetsuits with high contrast black and pale yellow and the high contrast seemed to have no effect on the sharks, even when the divers released urine to test the urine's effect on sharks. No effect on the sharks.
