Being the naysayer that I am, and Hi Mark, from Domond...
That would just make wndsurfing feel like kiteboarding.

What would be cool is if this is just a "fin-swap". I imagine that you need a pretty solid fin box.

You need a deep-Tuttle, I suddenly feel bad I sold my old Mike's Lab 75 course-slalom ... it was already basically hydroplaning with just a 52cm fin ...

Different brand foils have different mounting,

The SPOTZ brand foil uses a deep Tuttle. Most popular for kite foils at Crissy.

F4 fins, a local fin company owned by some of our fellow windsurfers will be coming out with some foils soon. Rumor is that they are testing kite foils as we speak.

That looked like about a 6.5 and very low wind. I wonder if this thing works way below normal planing speeds, if so, could be a fun piece of gear to keep around. But, the idea has been around since I started windsurfing ('84) and has never really caught on or gone away. Not sure why.

I do not know for sure, but kiteboarders, who normally need a Mikes labs racboard and a 17 m kite, can sail with a foilboard and an 11 m kite for the same wind conditions.
