Yikes JE

So much for the Chatham shoreline prognosticators saying that cut will heal itself!

I'm more worried about Eastham flexing its muscle and shutting down half of the other end.

RC

PS - trying to be one of the big boys, I started one small step to upgrade my hobo quiver. A 2013 5.0 Panther. (not the full leap but close enough, used from Windance)

Remember that clip of the NRA's Charlton Heston "Over my dead body!". That will be the Nauset Heights Residents on letting Eastham'rs down Callanans!

Oh so is the tip of Nauset resident side part of Eastham? Well being a Chatham resident I have to say I kind of don't blame them for wanting a piece of the pie. Rolling Eyes

Kind of funny that whenever Ted Keon says a break will heal it does not. And we pay him good money for his work(whatever he does besides make bad predictions?) Shocked

so that really primo tie up area where all the boats come out to is where the new break is? maybe this will reduce the traffic? aerial picture really makes one realize how transient all that sand can be, feels more solid than that when out there.

A brief reply

1. Chatham's got theirs. Don't move to Eastham. Aside from having no access to salt water, the have no access to fresh water (drinking). I guess you could get summer time access to one of those 10 cherished spots.

2. That's why I used the term prognosticators (I 1/2 hope that it's spelled and used correctly)

3. It looks like that fragile barrier is ripe for another storm event driven breach.

interesting observation ron. the other thing on the tip of your arrow is the little puddle in the beach that used to be the flatwater jibe sanctuary out of the malestrom of cut current. amazing how this all changes in recent memory.
