What took Fox news so long to start blaming the Ukraine violence on Obama? They are finding their legs and running segments on it now. Hope they go benghazi on this one. I like that verb. |

Ted Cruz:
"Obama 'utterly ineffectual' against Putin: Cruz called the Obama administration’s policy toward Russia and the unrest in Ukraine “misguided.”
“You know, if you look at the last five years, one of the tragic results is U.S. leadership has been receding. We have been shrinking. And into that vacuum others, like Iran, like Russia, have expanded. Putin is trying to reassemble the old Soviet Union and - and this administration's foreign policy has been utterly ineffectual standing up to prevent that.” |

Another reason: The FCC chairman, who was appointed in part because he wants to suppress TR, is ready to put monitors in TV and print media news departments. Not electronic monitors, but live government agents put there to question the news deps' ideology, decisions, biases, procedures, coverage of what the White House wants covered, and much more. Rumor? No. It was formally announced last May and is now ready for prime time implementation. It's beginning in South Carolina soon, unless the outraged uproar from both sides of both houses of the Congress can stop it.
Of course, there are precedents, such as BSNBC and Pravda.
What power will these monitors have? Licensing. You don't print what the administration wants, you lose your license.
Long Live King Obama. |

Ajit Pai is the commissioner of FCC. He is a republican appointed by Obama and he does not want, repeat, does not want the CIS (critical information needs). It is a survey rather than monitoring as you say, and it is a bad idea. Fox will start to say the idea came directly from Obama. Pai does not say that. Pai is educated at that liberal university Harvard and the University of Chicago Law. |

Thanks you windsurf. That well thought out critique was a refreshing throwback to the greatness of GOP thought in another age.
You can see why a Republican was chosen for that job by Obama. He seems smart, competent and disdainful of biased coverage like Msnbc with good examples.
Opposes the policies of the Administration and says so . That is part of his job. |

Here is the actual proposal from social solutions. Sounds like they just want to make some money off the government. All you have to do is read the overview and you get it. Nothing to do with Obama, just a company trying to take advantage of the FCC. No wonder Pai wants nothing to do with it.

Heresy! Heresy! Don't say that!
How can Mikey, Mr. B, Mr. G, NitWit, and the other rabid righties fire up their outrage and O-hate if you say that?
