Its a mostly wave oriented FSW, total custom.

99L 227 X 62.5 slotboxes X 4 and US box, all boxes and fins are made in house.

As far a custom board this has been the most professional , and easiest to deal with. Shipping // packing was double quad strong. Via Air France.

It will sail as a quad, tri , and conceivably a single.

It will get christened in 3 weeks time in Hatteras

Toe around 1.75--1.99 need to measure closer.
Price is less than a 2014 MSRP Cobra built board .

That is a sweet looking board, and the fin distribution, and outline
(down to the small swallow tail) is very similar to my
Starboard Quad. What's the bottom shape like? My Starboard
is biconcave front to monocave rear.

The bottom shape from nose to tail- vee with deep double, middle vee with slight double, tail vee. Vee increases from nose to tail. Pretty classic bottom actually

This board is really way kool.. it should show itself soon in Hatteras

http://www.flikkaboards.com/

my board is a combo of 2013-14 Shapes of 3 different boards, and the size with fin configuration I wanted .. Bitchen

and less than the 2014 MSRP of a Cobra board

Stoked .. is a relative term !!!

yes.

Shipping is high, but not overly so, about double of a board from Hawaii, if you pick up at the holding point at the airport. This is easier than waiting for a truck to arrive within a 4--6 hour window.

Standard construction, I am pretty light, and fairly easy on my gear.

There are NO import duties on windsurf boards, I have done 3 now, no fees.
Since we are a non Euro community, the VAT, Value Added Tax, of like 18--22% is subtracted from the listed price .

Thats the factor I was forgetting, the 18-20% tax that they include in their prices, I always think add on cost to that for taxes. That makes sense, was there a custom fee? I forgot to say congrats on the new board, must be pretty sweet to be riding a custom made just for you!

No import duty for windsurf boards. I have 3 boards that have been imported.

I WAS told when I researched the 1st one, that a Customs administrative fee is normal, like $40, none has ever been applied.
So no fees , board and shipping.

WEIGHT is 14.2 lbs bare or 6.45kg

very light. The photos, I will take some more dont do the board justice.

Its beautiful. The fins are all hand made in house, and are tiny jewels.
