FYI, the cleat on the newest Streamlined extensions is much more aggressive and less likely to slip than the newish power-six that Dave used on his extensions last year. Although this might put more wear on the line, I believe it's an improvement. Actually the spot I had the most wear on the line was right next to the knot hole where the line starts. This area has also been tweaked, so hopefully less line wear here.

Last week, I sent an inquiry email to Nautix at info@nautix.com to see if there was a Nautix distributor or dealer in the US who carried the Dynemix. So far, no reply.

http://rwrope.com/
has all kinds of exotic ropes, many of which are often on closeout. Good people and nearby me, so I was able to look at the stuff.

Paraloc Stingray (Closeout) MIGHT WORK
The light-weight for maximum performance. Stingray is a pure Dyneema trimline with a braided-in grip thread for optimal control and adhesion. In developing this product, the focus was on a high ultimate breaking load and low stretch, as well as being light-weight.

I bought a lot of the Paraloc Piranha (Closeout). Holds great, doesn't fray under loads and doesn't kink in blocks and pulleys, but they seem to be out of the small diameters.
"The all-rounder for halyards and sheets has been designed for tough racing. Excellent performance and minimal stretch, combined with low weight and an abrasion-resistant sheath, makes this product distinctive. Through the Paraloc technology, power is transferred from the sheath to the interlocked braiding Dyneema high performance core.
Closeout on higher diameters, while supplies last.

I've sent 3 inquiry emails to Nautix and they haven't replied to any of them. Guess I'll just have to live with the Robline Super DH.

Try the CHinook White 4mm Spectra. I found it hold better in cleats than the Robline. It is a firm double braid & measure about 4.25mm ...

Hard to tell from this picture, but I've attached a close up picture of the new Streamlined cleat base.

It has a more aggressive cleat, so rope hold is better. It also has a pin on the cleat to make it a little easier to pull the rope aligned near the cleat when downhauling.

Bob:

I too was on this same line quest a few years ago. I like the Nautix line best for my downhaul line. I was unsuccessful getting any more from Steve Gottlieb back then, and so Kevin gave me some Chinook line to try with my then new Streamlined RDM extensions. It has held up very well and also grips well in the older style cleat. I really liked the stiffness (as well as the tough fine braided coat) of the Nautix line as it made threading pulleys so easy. It is not that big of a deal. The Chinook line is perfectly fine. If you do find some, let me know.
