The donor was a 1999 Mistral Score 104L, 240 X 58.5

The finished board is 229 X 58.5, the nose , tail, rails were all altered to fit the dimensions of a 85-100L production, kinda ..not sold here .

I removed the powerbox, mast track, installed 2 slot boxes, and a shortened Chinook USBox , the fin cluster location is set up as a trailer tri fin.

I have a lot of firsts on this, paint, and major nose/tail re construction were involved, rail shape then graphics.. which compared to a carbon wash are out there. The rails are flag blue, they appear black in photos.

Iam pleased with the result , more so if she sails in a reasonable manner, like not sink: track straight, and turns with stable grip.

The weight gain with carbon Kevlar SGlass is too much, I feel confidant it will be strong, jumping not going to be a strong point.

She will be christened in Hatteras soon.

Well, dang ....That is very cool! How many hours do you think you put in? And, what sort of air brush/ gun did you use for the graphics (assuming you are the artist)? I was thinking of sprucing up one of my old boards for my daughter.

PM me with your email and I will give some more details.

The rail, top/bottom were done with a spray gun/compressor. Some of the top graphics as well. The other works are stickers, or done with spray cans.

I did all the work from A--Z on this.

First ride today. Good:: did not sink.did plane some slow..compared to Flikka..fins were 17 fronts-9 rear..stable tracking..turns quite sharply..straps& mast seem well placed..once on the plane stayed up.
NOT bad..but these comments- not enough grip need more monster traction- nose tends to pearl until on the tail.

Pleased beyond words it works so well...with so many things that could be wrong..if it were a few pounds lighter now!!

STOKED @%*&?!*****

Some more rides, and different fins. Estimate liters at 90L.

Things wrong: too heavy, once on the plane nice. Not enough anti skid on deck, not enough nose rocker. Paint scratches too easily, I was easy on layers, for weight consideration.

GOOD: footstraps are nice, rails which were a ? worked nicely, turns really sharp. Looking at the swallowtail when underpower the bubble trail from the two tails was extreme, very pronounced.

semi good: attracted some attention on the beach with questions
semi bad: attracted some attention on the beach with questions
may need to use asymmetrical fins forward, board tracked into the wind till well underway.. have the fins but wind as usual did not cooperate , too many boards not enough time.
