Hey guys and gals,
I'm going to need some advice. I found a Ken winner 750 replica windsurf board with the full kit (Sail, mast, mast base, boom etc). This is a board that was in production in 84/85/86. This is a 3.05m long 140L board.
here is the board's flyer:

The owner wants $250 for everything. Even if the board was in perfect condition what is this board really worth these days?
thanks in advance for the advice

Anywhere between free and $50.
You'd never be able to find any replacement parts of that vintage, when needed. |

If everything was pristine and your skills would let you use it, the money would be just ok....but $100 more fair.
I would be very worried about the mast base / universal joint connection, and the ability to replace those connections (doubtful). Rot happens
I think if you really looked around you could get a much more reassuring full kit for the same money, but it really depends on where you are, and whether you have a friend to help navigate the purchase options.
Nobody wants to admit how much windsurfing stuff depreciates, but that stuff is like 25 years old and really not a great find _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=zw0MgkO7VXw |

I would not get this board if the owner paid me. The board likely has not antiskid and thus would be hell to use. Are you having a hard time to get gear for cheap? eBay might be better.
Keep requesting advice though on gear, there is still some old crap out there that could turn anyone off windsurfing so advice on this board will be helpful. |

I just sold my Bid 750 last summer for $25. It was a great board in its day, fast and a great jiber. The adjustable mast track failed early on. I ripped it out and put in a standard Chinook box. |

A copy of that flyer, in good condition, would be worth $2.50. |
