Wind weapons were hard! I tried one a few times in the late eighties. I was able to get it going, but it was an inefficient beast. The spirit of the wind weapon (combine windsurfing with hangliding) lives on in kiting. |

i bought the wind weapon 2 years ago in holland
on land i made of it a kitewing abble to windsurf that s much easier
wind weapon is very impressive on land with dirtsurfer and power can better be managed with a simple wing
i wonder why nobody sells such a symetrical windsurf sail , abble to kitewing and low priced
also you can make a wind weapon of a kitewing

Hey, NEW idea!
Let's attach a kite to your control bar/boom, so it can power you while up in clean air!
Old idea, started in Berkeley around 1984, that flipping wing. Really slow, nice lift on jumps like a kite, and then horrid straight vertical landings with no forward speed, making for BIG splashes and carnage. |

We used something like the OP's wing when we were skating on open ice on Lake Erie.
Man, could you get some serious speed with that wing! |
