I used a 5.0 and the 112L board for the record. Was a little weak in front of the event site so I went down river and got hammered. Took an hour to return to the event site, with a brief stop by the bridge on the WA side to downhaul and outhaul as much as I could.

Had fun tho! So nice to be in "clean" water, vs the murky salt water here in the bay.

Was up there again last Friday and would have rented from Windance but the sensor was reading 10mph-27mph. Went and rented an MTB instead.

I wouldn't trust sensors that much. If it was the Event Site or Rowena sensor, those always have a larger than life spread. Now if it was Swell or Dougs, then you might have been right.

If you mean Friday the 19th, then you SHOULD have gone east. I had a blast at Maryhill and heard the Wall was epic again..... Powered to overpowered on a 4.2....

Too bad. The wind and weather were outstanding just 20-40-60 minutes east.

I was at Doug's last Friday, and while I wouldn't call it smooth, it honked
hard, with most out on 3.7s. I took the oppertunity to challenge my body,
and rigged a 4.2 for the holes. Didn't really notice many. ;*)

I know, but I was in town only for the day. heading east meant skipping dinner and not getting a couple sails at Windance.

DINNER???

You'd rather eat than SAIL?

Oh, the wife? So let her eat while you sail, and everybody's happy.

OOH ... it was a GIRLFRIEND! Well, better she found out before getting married that you are or will soon be a windsurfer. That dawning has ruined many a good marriage.

Windsurfing has been easier on the marriage than babies! Somehow the wife has been more accepting of the giant van in our driveway and a garage filled with boards and sails than not sleeping for the past 18 months. Probably cuz she doesn't drink coffee. A double shot in the AM, and another before I hit the water in the PM.

And now it looks like we'll be residents, at least part of the year, in windsurfing Mecca. My wife, she likes the beer and the view there. <-- so I'm sure I'll get my time on the water. Look for the skinny Pollak who flubs every gybe.

Part time?? I hope you are better at picking which part of the year to live here vs. a choice of windsurfing or eating....... Just in case.... hint..... the warm time of the year.....

Oh yeah, if you want to be recognized we need a better description... Cool

I see a lot of skinny guys who blow their jibes, but it's tough to tell
their ethnicity from how they sail (well maybe I could tell a frenchman).
But I think you at least deserve a beer, so look me up in the Green Ford
Aerostar Van with Oregon plates at the Hatchery, Doug's or the Wall.
