i've only been sailing with you for the last several years, but you can still smoke me on a regular basis no matter how hard I try.
you're giving me motivation to "be like brian" until someone has to pry the board from my cold clenched hands.

1987 to 1988 I happened to live in Corpus Christi and have the good fortune of sailing and watching the Caller Times/Whataburger U.S. Open Windsurfing Regatta two years in a roll. If my memory serves me right, back then anyone 30 or older is considered over the hill and put in the Master Class. And if your are 40 or older, you're considered way way over the hill and has to be in the Grand Master Class. It would be unthinkable that people could windsurf at 70 in the old days. |
