I liken it to racing old well run in cars. Supercharging is the last thing they need. Over rev and over stress, and the con rods will say blow this for a lark, and smash through the crankcase! |
Not exactly a correct analogy, testosterone and growth hormone make the engine stronger.
Over reving would be more like too much cardio exercise and the joints breaking down from over use. The body needs a balance approach especially including weight training.
I get what you are saying, we could get over ambitious with our abilities when using TRT and suffer an injury. |

Isobars, those links don't work, and I was most interested in reading them. I started exercising on a regular basis as my new years resolution in an effort to get myself in better condition, and hopefully raise my testosterone levels. HGH would be nice too! |

Odd ... I have no idea why that website dropped that article.
But you can find many similar discussions of the topic and links to similar articles by Googling the key words
<high intensity exercise Intermittent Fasting Whey Protein HGH Mercola>
This science has been known and used for many decades, even before my time IIRC. It's a crying shame Kenneth Cooper dreamed up his (now self-admittedly erroneous) aerobics fad that hornswoggled millions of people.
I'm going to step into my den now and do more for my longevity, cardiovascular fitness, endurance, weight, blood sugar, HGH, and MUCH more -- and less harm -- in four minutes' clock time (160 seconds of effort) than I could in an hour of the usual crap most people do in the gym or on a track. Google Tabata. |
