I love riding this board. I have newer gear, but this board always seems to work better for me.
Let me know if you guys have any.

Always enjoyed using my buddy's E-Rock over my Axxis 278. Much more user friendly, and ahead of it's time.

F-2 Axxis 278....
Still have one in my container.
I've gotten faster speeds than most of my GPS buds with that board, including some 6'4" x 215 lbs'ers, and I"m 150 lbs.
A little sluggish at the get go, but great control overpowered and running with the windswells. If the belly touches down, it doesn't slow, as the flat front rocker keeps up the speed.
Possibly a true 99 liters, this board is great for flatter waters in powered up conditions, still today against ANY board.

Some guys successfully raced the Stroh's World Cup slalom races with E rocks, and did quite well.

Been riding my Erock since 1990. Love this board, for me at 145 lbs, it works well from 4.5 to 7.5; smooth water, chop and small waves.
I'd love to find a replacement as well; mine looks like it's been through the war (fin box repaired twice, hole in the top repaired), but still manages to speed along and catch some decent air.

Great board! I had one from the late 80's. I weigh 150 and sailed it with 7.0-4.2. That board could handle a fair amount of wind. I even sailed it with a 3.7 now and then, and could still have fun. Mine was 102L. Plenty of flotation if the wind dies, easy to uphaul, can be sailed in moderately high winds 30+.
I've never warmed up to the short wide concept, they loose control when over powered. Maybe it's just me and my style of sailing though. I have an 08 JP FSW 85L that does no better in higher winds, yet can't take sails much bigger than 6.0.
Have to agree with zirtaeb 100%
Kind of miss those older designs in some ways.

should have gotten one of these instead of the similarly sized and supposedly faster mistral energy. there was a cohort of jibe impaired sailors on the whole east coast referred to as the "energy generation" by one well known east coast sail rep. everyone who went a-rock to e-rock was ripping carve jibes in no time.
