No, I haven't done a report on Vieste, because I have not been there yet.
I will report on Vieste after being there, or if you would write a brief report to share your experience for us, it would be great!
Last summer I've been to Puglia too, exactly to Otranto, near Lecce (about 400 km at South from Vieste), and it is another great spot for windsurfing, and also for holidays (Lecce is a very picturesque town).

I was in Sardinia in August. There is a spot there called Porto Pollo that gets good wind and has this amazing center:

I didn't actually windsurf cuz there was other stuff I wanted to do, but I couldn't believe how big windsurfing was there. The place was like a surf themed vacation village with windsurfing at the heart. It would be a great place to take a family on a surfari. Plus Sardinia is just a great destination on its own. |
