yeah when the wind direction is right that is a pretty sweet freestyle spot. Usually my winter sessions are in temps around 0-5c and water about the same. That day the air was around 0c but the water still not very cold so probably around 5-6c

brrrrrrrrr

I assume you use a drysuit? that's really awesome that you're trying spocks in the freezing cold.

Thanks, i hope i will soon land one of those spocks, it´s been a long road but i feel like i´m getting pretty close.

I have never used a drysuit except when i was a kid, i just use a 6/5/4 hooded one. I used to have a backzip o´neill one but the few drops of water that got in the back made me cold + the chest panel was only 4mm, -no good, with a freezing chest after an hour. Now i´m using a simmer suit with a chest zip, much warmer.

Those 6mm suits are very different from one brand to another, some look like the designers have never sailed in cold water, with hoods that leave the forehead naked, 4mm chest panels and so on. -but i´ve always felt good for 2hours or so with a good neoprene suit, i even always use a double lined one.
