Uh oh, a conflict . . . I have an invite for the Patriots / Broncos game Sunday afternoon. Not that I'm complaining about that, but its going to be a hard sell with the wife (and kid) do disappear for the whole day. Creative suggestions welcome. Hoping for something Saturday afternoon (maybe Nahant), but that's looking less and less exciting.

Just go early zeppy. You get an extra hour Saturday night thanks to time change back to EST. You can can get several hours on the water and be back by noon.

Found the location.
The house is still standing, but can tell that it is under repair.

Lars, noted, I've started to grease the wheels. And, not to spoil the party here, because I have thought this spot would be an interesting place to sail in the right conditions (and this might be those conditions), it's looking like Nahant could be pretty nice on Sunday if the swell doesn't get blown out (and it's closer for me). Probably will head to Nahant tomorrow afternoon as well. I sailed just North of Town Neck a few years ago from a boat ramp where there were some sand bars just off-shore. It was a good set up and had potential, but the wind didn't cooperate the way I had hoped that particular day.

Gotta say, Nahant is looking promising, too. 5-7 foot surf, NW wind is side-off there, and mid-20s? I think I'll stay close to home.
