Tough Week

All good advice, in dealing with any major medical issue. We have been fortunate to have Dr.s that have been willing to spend the time to explain the various testing and treatment. I believe my son had about 10-12 Dr.s working with him at least 6 neurologists.


I think it's important for you all to understand that I believe my sons stroke was probably avoidable.

At 22, my son was in his mind "invincable" he's a tough high risk kind of guy. He had ignored previous bouts of numbness, dizziness and hadn't told us about a two week period of head aches leading up to this event.

Now he works hard as a landscaper and felt most of what was going on had to do with dehydration etc.

My point is Don't ignore these symptoms and teach your kids to to pay attention to there body "talk"

He's coming along but we are very uncertain as to when and if he will be able to get back to work. He's just started his various therapys about a week ago.

I shore do appreciate all the kind words and advice.
