interesting task from the boss [West Palm Beach in January?]

Guess this would be easier if our yearly meeting was held in Maui but...

My boss, actually the boss that is 3 levels above me, has asked me to find..

windsurfing gear
Surfing gear
Where to launch from etc.

Date - late January

Location - West Palm Beach!

My understanding is that both activities are storm driven, so it's hit or miss

I can find windsurf rentals an hour south
Understand any chance of waves is an hour north

And we can only sneak away to play in the early AM.

Ergo, I think that kills windsurfing anyway.

Any hot tips for a guy who hopes to a) play and b) make playing for my boss's boss's boss easy?

If it was some really rich cool dude/dudette, I would advance ship their gear, or have them send you down a few days early set up the beach. ...but to blast in and have some poor you trying to to make it happen for 3 hours is Bush-League.

There was a dude in Delray Beach had some stuff on the sand..... Catamaran and Beach Chair rental type place....I scored a sesh with the beater stuff, but it was fun

wind SUP would make you skunk proof

jupiter inlet has a sand bar that acts like a reef. less of a drive from WPB.

rentals/ good luck. plenty in miami. rent by the week, perhaps?

i can be hired as a windsurfing (that includes wave sailing) guide, gear included for $3500 per week for you and your CEO. $1000 per week per person extra.

i know all the breaks and what gear worx best for typical florida east coast conditions.
