HMB was pretty good all day Sunday except for a couple times the wind really dropped. There was even a good hour where the sun came out and there was probably around 20 knots of breeze. The drive there was probably the most intense part of my day. Lots of sailors out all day rigging any range of gear. I rigged a 4.7 and was on a freestyle board in the morning and switched to a wave board in the afternoon. You could have been on just about any gear from slalom to what I was on.

I still think Tomales Bay might be better if you are looking for consistent wind and swell. However, if flat water blasting is what you are looking for HMB jetty is where it is at. I think I heard someone in the parking lot say they hit 39 knots on their GPS... that is wicked fast.

Wish I was up there for the storm winds! Bodega looked strong at 30-50mph last week I think.

We had some pretty good wind yesterday in Socal. averaging 20-22mph with gusts of 30+. With a quickly receding low tide, conditions were perfect for speed!
