Not sure we were the first, but what a day to start the season--gnarly as can be. Crazyfingers left early after the 5.6 proved to be too much it blowing close or over 40. Antoine and I re-rigged 3.7s and did the best we could. Antoine also perfected a new, not-yet-named-move, a back loop where both your kit and you separately do a back loop. Very interesting move in 38 degree water. Here are a few pics.

Lookin' good ! Didn't see a soul in Newport with any wind sport on Sat. I got wet on Friday, sailed but more waves than wind. It looked so good on Sat early when it was only blowing 15-20. Pic from Sat morning.
