JOE

it appears you have you boards sorted out.

ONE week will go by fast. WHAT week in May ? I will be there first 2 weeks, Andy at Wind-NC usually knows my vague whereabouts, and knows me, he wont usually admit it however !!

The folks at the shops are really helpful with sailing locations, the Canadian Hole is most days a given for good winds this time of year,May will bring some warmer weather. Salvo day use area is totally kool , between the kiters.. umm

see ya on the water

well, am back from my first Hatteras trip

if you are interested, i posted about it on my blog:
http://joewindsurfer.blogspot.ca/2015/05/joe-windsurfer-first-visit-finally-to.html

Brought the equipment suggested to me here on iwindsurf - Mistral Equipe longboard and BEE 124
With this and the sails that I brought, I was on the water 7 days out of 7
The weather was "warm" and wore neoprene about 2 days
We were lucky in that TropicalStorm ANA missed us

Would have liked to rent some of the newer stuff, but an equipment mishap on the road ate the liquid cash

People that i spoke with did NOT seem to understand the "raison d'être" of the Mistral Equipe. I am supposed to be out planing and jibing and NOT gliding and tacking ... For me, it's about whatever gets me out on the water and puts a smile on my face Very Happy
