Guy, how can we use you to determine feasibility for downwinders to Hood River? I mean 5.0m or smaller. Thanks.
P.S. What happened to the Habs?

Biff, I tried a downwinder once from Viento to Hood River. "Tried" I said. Wink

But I guess with the perfect timing, that is, a day that the wind switches for SW to WNW, 0.5 m2 less than what you need to start in Viento would be the right call.

As far has the Habs go, I think I am the only Montrealer that does not follow hockey (a religion in Quebec), but I have heard that they almost made a miracle comeback after trailing 0-3 in some quarter final. "almost made", I said. Wink

I think maybe if it is blowing hard at Viento, it might be worth a good try. Because it usually blows a little harder at the Hatchery area. Just let us know if it's blowing hard!

Biff, I don't sail at Viento when it blows hard, it is usually very gusty and choppy then. But it's a great morning place for light to moderate winds when it's not suppose to blow. It's also an excellent place for freestylers who could find happiness with 15 to 20 knots winds and flat water on the Oregon side.

Looking forward to bump into you!
