Does anyone know of a board to use in just about all conditions, from flat water to chop to waves? Also the board has to be easy to use straps and harness on. I have seen the RRD Avantride 70, does anyone know anything about it? What would be the best board choice? |

I use a Fanatic Viper Lite. Love it. About 10 ft 8 in, 186 liters and durable. Series is 1988 (!) I believe. Have blown away more short boards than I can count in good winds (>15 mph) and plenty of float in moderate winds (10-14).I sail central NY state and NJ when I get the chance. Use 6.0-6.8 sails. I very highly recommend this board, and if you find one in good shape and decide on something else, let me know; Ide like to get another if I can find one. mtpowers@borg.com |
