I'm jibing on the inside. Yes there is a wave behind me but the was also a beach and jetty about 100 feet in front of me. For anyone who knows "the Bowl" at the Shinnecock Inlet on Long Island the jetty is about 100 feet to the left of me in this photo. It's jibe or crash at that point!
