WEEDS!!!Kalmus is getting weeded up again. Was wondering if any other Cape SWerly spots don't have as much. How's Ned's for weeds?
Slalom boards/gear do not like weed fins....

There were no weeds in Ned's Point last weekend.
No problem with long fins.
Also the grass is greener and the bathrooms are renovated and you do not get stuck in traffic on the way back

Thanks, Aashenberg, That settles it- I'm headed back to check out Ned's soon. Haven't been there for 20 years. Gotta make sure I remember where those rocks are.
Hell- I'd sail in Boston Harbor to get away from those dang weeds.

Careful with the rocks.
Come in slowly just in case.
You will be safer going out heading up right away and when going in come from above or at least at straight 90 degrees to the beach, the rocks are more on the left side going out.
Also at low tide there is a little sand bar you can trip your fin on not expecting it to be there.
It was great last Sunday and I hope to be there tomorrow.
