I live and sail in the Gorge, and I would like to know why in the hell are a good share of the tourists so damn rude? 85% of them have NO IDEA WHAT TACK THEY ARE ON, or PARK WHERE EVER THEY FEEL LIKE PARKING. If the 85% cant figure this out then stay away. You are going to be the ones that end up closing some of the great sites here in the Columbia River Gorge.
And for the other 15% of the tourists that visit. Thank-you and Ill see you on the water. KID MOSIER

Kid --

As you may well have noticed, you aint seen nothing yet. WAIT TIL SEPTEMBER GETS HERE and the Borge novice tourists who dont feel up to mid-summer crowds get here. My *GOD* but these people cant think! You stagger out of the water only to find that the previous idiot left his rig lying across the only path out of the water. So you walk across yet one more sail lying on the rocks. Or you slip a foot under his rig, lift its leading edge into the wind, and watch it disappear. You must stap over babies lying in the path to get into or out of the water, argue with mothers who think their two-year-olds are SAFE playing UNWATCHED between the AMTRAK tracks, explain to idiots why they shouldnt park blocking theh NO PARKING AT RISK OF DEATH signs, park blocking the only path to the water (walking over hoods gets the message across), save parking places for your buds who cant get out of bed before 11:AM and still want a front-row parking spot to set up their table and chairs in, people who rig in the last parking spot left expecting you to give up sailing there that day, and people who dump their garbage beside the Porta-Poots as though the sludge-sucker truck driver is going to put it in the cab of his truck and haul it into town for you.

How do people like this survive long enough to earn enough money to windsurf? Their IQs must match their sail sizes!

Mike
