Cardiff Reef or Seaside Reef. Seaside is a little more side and gets a kick as it comes around the cliff. Unfortunately you will be dealing with every kiter in N. County at Seaside. Another option is Carlsbad State Beach just north of Ponto, but its really getting side-on there.
In pre-frontal winds it's generally worth the drive to J St or S. Mission Beach. Typically its 5mph+ windier down there.... |
