11:40 update: wind has dropped to 18 knots outside and very holey inside with 10 knots on the beach. Surf still 1-2 feet on the beach, 4 kites out,

Spread the word... the La Ventana human forecasts are back!

My internet here just south of the El Sargent hot springs is very slow but I can still do onsite reports from my house 100 feet above the beach with a 20 mile view to the north for windowcasts. I will also rough out forecasts but my connection is too slow to review all the higher resolution models so don't expect much.

Today, Sunday 8:30AM I am seeing 20-25 knot wind and medium swell all the way to the Island. 1-2 foot breaking surf on the beac. The wind is 10-15 knot at the beach. One windsurfer out for over an hour fully powered on at least a 5.2. One kiter out.

Saltelite imagery shows only sparse clouds to the west and only a trace of the unfavorable NW wind just aloft.

Should be a good 20-24 knot day but gusty and best outside.
