Put together a vid with footage from early last year on the Starboard Free formula board.

different in various clips. The reef and catamaran bits was strong, maybe up to 17 - 18 knots. The moth bits were light maybe 10 - 13 knots. With the moth footage I was marginally planning and doing everything to keep it going.

Hi Scotty bda,

Does Bermuda get many windsurfers as tourists from Great Britain? If not, why not?

Are there any places to rent gear in Bermuda? And if so, what is the quality?

I think most of our tourists come from the US. Not sure why but think most British tourists head Barbados, Spain, Greece etc. Maybe it's based on cost as Bermuda is more expensive, but it's also very quality and nice. I'll find some links to do my touristy bit! Very Happy

There are maybe two places to rent. This is one, they would have Ezzy sails and a variety of boards though not huge. Our main tourist season is in the summer when the winds are lighter so paddleboarding is more of an option.

Looks beautiful there and the water is gorgeous!

The videos, yours and the Island Winds, show that good wind is there, at least at times. Maybe it is not as consistent as those other windsurfing destinations you mentioned.

I enjoyed your 'Round the Island' information in previous posts.

Thanks Windward,

for slalom type sailing I'd say it's awesome for sure! I had a great session last weekend, went windsurfing Saturday and kiting on Sunday. We have these WOO devices to see how high we can jump, so bit of a competition going on which has me kiting a bit more! Embarassed

I've got up to 28ft so far, not had powered up conditions to get mega high yet.

Anyways made a quick little vid without music while out with a new sailor. She's from the East coast and just raving about the warm water and crazy number of turtles! Very Happy
