Hi all,

I am looking for someone to help me transport my board from Montreal to Boston. It's packed in a boardbag, so does not require any further care or protection. It's located somewhere in downtown, in my friend's basement. I would be happy to drive out somewhere to meet up as well - as long as someone can get it most of the way here!

This is not super urgent - I would even be happy if someone takes it along on their trek to Hatteras in April, but obviously the sooner the better!

Please let me know if you can help and I will owe you one!

Nikita.

There is Greyhound bus from Montreal to White River Junction in VT. It is across the river from me. If your friend could send it in the bus I would meet the board here and keep in Hanover, NH area till the next chance to direct it to Boston. I may even go to Boston this coming weekend.

I sent a message to Joe, hopefully he can help out!

Otherwise, I can see if my friend from Montreal can deal with the bus. That seems a bit more complicated and I don't want to ask him to do much more than just handing it off to someone who knows how to transport boards. Smile

There are a few Greyhound buses from Montreal to White River Junction. WRJ is 5 min from my house across the river. In case it is reasonable to put the board in a bus I would be glad to pick it up here. The we will have to figure how to get it to Mass. Understood that it is a bit complicated but it is a possibility.

Thanks, my Ugly friend. Smile This may work as a last resort. The guy who has the board in Montreal is not a super close friend, so I am hesitant to send him over to Greyhound and ask him to try to figure out how to put it on the bus. The annual migration to Hatteras is about to happen in 3 weeks, so maybe someone will be kind enough to take it along for the ride. I was hoping to get it before then, but doesn't look like it will happen.

If I can't figure out a way to get it to me in the next month, then I will get back to you! It's workable, just even further from ideal than all the so so options. I did make a mess of this board purchase, for sure!

Thanks for all who offered to help, I did get the board yesterday. Some truly random connection yielded a transfer opportunity, so I am very happy!
