Long session at Isabel Monday. A bit fluffy at first, filled in nicely though.

It's different at different spots.

Sure, and I noticed that when Pelicans fly west the wind is stronger three hours later in locations south-south-east of their flying path. Shocked

Ignorance is, indeed BLISS......
The less you know, the fewer chances of making the wrong choices.
And ignorant folke can always consult a guide, like Surfing California, or Windfinder, and low and behold ......amazing,...not everyone is ignorant.
Some people who give advice here are named in BOTH, in the reference indexes.

Wet and wild Berkeley on Wednesday. 4.5 and a 85L. Let it loose on starboard, pay attention on port. Thanks Obama!

5.2/110L at Flying Tigers at 1 pm. The wind at Tigers alley was around 17-22, with just a few holes. Saw someone at the NE tip of the airport..probably launched from Embassy. Needed a good session to defuse my irritation from yesterdays Warriors game ( what's up with Steph?). Needed a couple of tacks to get back to Oysters. Forecast is for good wind on Friday.

Hmmm. Equally cryptic, but I believe you may have just insinuated that LeeD is challenged by a deficit of brain cells.

Is there anyone else up there I can talk to?

Some people believe in the concept of local knowledge.
Other's don't, and believe what they see is what they see.
It's all perception.
You can't always see the current's under the calm surface, but is it really there?
When a tree falls in a forest, and nobody heard or saw it fall, did it fall?

Past noontime the airport was supposedly blowing 30. Rigged 3.7/80L. Don't know where it was blowing 30 but I couldn't find it and I ventured further out towards the channel looking for it, mostly underpowered. There was enough 25mph gusts to keep me going but the lulls made it difficult to stay afloat. After 45 minutes I had had enough and limped back in. A couple of other sailors out on 5.5m sails an bigger boards. The only good thing about today was a couple of good looking ladies asked me if windsurfing was hard once I was ashore..ahh to be young and single again Crying or Very sad
