TAKE YOUR GEAR!
While visiting Ithaca, Ive seen sailors out on Cayuga lake - so I know windsurfers sail there and from what Ive seen - big gear. The only launch I know is at the south end of the lake on the east side. There is some kind of shop (rental maybe??) there too. Send an email to the WML - there used to be someone on the list who sails/ed Cayuga Lake. |

windsurfing mailing list
http://www.fly.com/wml/
check it out - I copied the following from their home page:
The Windsurfers Mailing List Home Page
Hosted by Fly.com communications. The Windsurfers Mailing List is an E-mail discussion list designed for windsurfing enthusiasts worldwide. The WML is non-profit, non-commercial and free to join. The lists purpose is to enhance the enjoyment of our sport by discussing windsurfing-related topics such as equipment, technique, sailing spots, weather, competition, Etc.
The WML began in 1989 to supplement the Usenet newsgroup, rec.windsurfing. The list was created because not everyone had access to Usenet at the time. Since then, the WML has grown to become extremely popular. To date, the list has over 1,000 subscribers.
The WML welcomes you to join and share your windsurfing experiences and thoughts - or you just sit back, read and relax. The list is unmoderated. Non-windsurfers are welcome to join.
Aloha! |
