| I am traveling to Bordeax in two weeks.Any good wavesailing spots near by? How cold is the water? Full wetsuit or shorty? Any decent rental equipment? |

Hi,
It takes approximately one hour to go to the ocean (Lacanau beach). Its a very good place to surf but there is not so much wind here. You have to go north (La Palmyre) near Royan to find rentals and some decent conditions (if a depression is here). Water is around 17 celsius. Have a nice trip (and enjoy the red wine if the wind is not there...)
