Hi Gang,
Last posting has some more photos.
Here are some photos from the Hatchery today. That makes 3 epic days in a row wind wise if not swell wise.
I am working on a blog about the convergence of factors that made for these strong but very gusty days.

Those are awesome photos!! Were most of the sailors next to the barge aware that the barge was coming?! Any who were taken by surprise? Can you tell or did you hear onshore of any close call stories?

Hi jessie01,
That is Bill from Canada in the photos with the log barge. Because of the angle I was at on Kodak point it looks like he is almost in front of the Barge but actually he was well past it. Also telephoto lens foreshorten everything so it makes it look like he is much closer to the barge than reality.
But it sure makes for a dynamic photo!

You gotta love the guy sailing his boat through on a shortened main - was he really out there solo? If so, he gets my vote as biggest stud on the water that day! Very cool photos!
