Hi Gang,

As Mark's Extended forecast mentioned there is a chance of southerly flow tomorrow Thursday Sept. 8. In fact if things play out right then we should see a major event tomorrow morning.

The satellite animation below from dawn today to 4PM shows the battle the marine surge is waging against the NW winds. But Waddell in now seeing southerly winds.

fascinating. So that's why the wind was in three different directions between the launch at Marina Bay and Olympic Circle. Nice day of sailing, but it makes me feel uneasy about getting back...have to keep checking!Smile
