I have a Bic Mast 30% Carbon. There is water in the sealed center part of the base mast. Ive tried tilting the mast for extended period of time hoping that the water would leak out, but to no avail! The inside section with the water is sealed with caps and glue. Any ideas on how to remove the water? Do I just somehow have to remove the inside caps? The mast is getting heavier each time I go in the water! |

Drill a hole in tha cap, if you can reach it, and seal it up with silicone and saran wrap. |

Wanda has a good suggestion of drilling a hole in a cap to drain the water. Check your caps for small holes because water is getting in somehow. If you have to remove the caps or plugs, you can reglue them back in or get new replacement plugs at your local shop. Usually these are just a dense foam piece that slides in and keeps water out. If the water amount is small, dont worry too much. If is is quite a bit and you seem to get more each time out, you need to fix it. Taking on a little water is common, but excessive amounts are not good. Hope this helps.
