Im looking for a new race sail to run on my Pro-tech 280 CAT. Its a wide-style about 141 ltrs. Been sailing a 99 8.4 Gaastra Total Flow. Looking for a replacement in same size 8.3-8.7. Im about 175 lbs & sail this in 10-14 mph wind. No demos in my area. Of the choices, does anyone like one race sail over another for this kind of sailing? |

The new Gaastra 8.7 nitro rocks. If it is good enough for the team ,it is good enough for you! It rigs on a 490. the more carbon the better. Try an adjustable outhaul.

Havent sailed a Gaastra but they seem really fast. NPs still rule though so go to neilprydemaui.com and pick up a new RX1 or RX2 for 3 or 4 hundred.
