The Open Ocean website is updated with new action shots in the Gallery and Windsurf sections. We’ll follow up with more technical info about the new Ripper/Slasher models. Until then call Brian for information. Craig gave a pretty through review of it in the Open Ocean Boards thread and have some great pictures of him on the website! Also have pics of team rider Dave Brown launching some big air in the Gorge.

Love these boards! Got two from windance used, a 75L older model with track forward and a newer one 85L a little wider, shorter, and track further back. Both work great in the gusty winds we have here. Sold my JP freestyle wave 84L, no regrets. Two used boards + shipping = less than one third the price of 1 new board!

Hey there!
They all look awesome. Could you tell me more about your experience with 85L? Do you think it'd be good dfor an amateur?
What board would you recommend for an absolute beginner?
