EX-CHRIS CHRISTIE AIDES GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS IN 'BRIDGEGATE' TRIAL
Quote: | Two former allies of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie were convicted on Friday for their roles in the "Bridgegate" lane closure scandal, following a six-week trial that served to further tarnish the Republican's damaged public reputation.
Bridget Kelly, the governor's former deputy chief of staff, and Bill Baroni, former deputy executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, were found guilty in Newark federal court on all counts, the U.S. Attorney's office in New Jersey said on Twitter. |

NJ Senate Majority Leader Weinberg Calls for Christie Impeachment Hearings
Quote: | "The allegations of federal prosecutors and statements of witnesses who testified under oath cannot go unanswered and impeaching Chris Christie would bar him from further public service in this State," Weinberg wrote. |

well did he call in a grand jury? Did they call Christie before the grand jury. There is no reason not to when 2 of his top people were found guilty and also said Christie knew. IE get him under oath finally in front of a grand jury. If not, the prosecutors office should be removed and a special prosecutor appointed.
as the art states it is not completely over... but as noted there is still a chance..

Misconduct case against Chris Christie will move forward

It’s no secret that New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) was a finalist for the Republican Party’s vice presidential nomination, but given the latest developments, GOP officials are probably quite pleased he’s not the party’s national ticket. WNBC in New York reported this morning:
A judge has found probable cause for a complaint of official misconduct against Gov. Chris Christie related to the George Washington Bridge lane closures.
The case now goes to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, which will decide whether to bring the issue to a grand jury for possible indictment.
As the NJ.com report explained, the case was brought by Bill Br |

Why do I do this, there is no chance of changing the minds of anyone on the fact-free side of the aisle? Because there are screamingly funny things that come from the fingers of the self-righteous and clueless. Here's an actual quote from mrgybe's citation:
Quote: | The prosecutor's office said it did not think it could prove the charge in court. |
In New Jersey, and particularly for the mob, it is part of the culture to not rat someone out. Christie's folks took the fall for him. No doubt a crime was committed, little doubt that Christie knew about it, such bullying is very much his style. But they can't proved he ordered it. Small comfort--except for the triumphal right.
But the funnies thing is mrgybe's complaint about the term fat. Having posted a rude joke disparaging "fat" women who would march in protest of Trump, and Michele Obama, mrgybe has now realized that the term "fact" is an insult.
I guess the lesson is that it is ok to insult women, but not Republican governors. Not quite good enough for Saturday Night live, but pretty funny. |

Not the sharpest knife in the drawer is he? He should check Wikipedia for the meaning and use of "irony". I'll try to keep it simpler in future. |

Christi? REALLY? Who's he? Wasn't he that the big, brash guy who once debated our current POTUS on stage? We're still talking about him ... WHY?
How's Alf Landon doing, mac? Lyndon LaRouche? (I called his campaign finance manager a "Teutonic bitch" to her ear when she refused to stop calling me at my office 30 years ago demanding money in foul language. Some lefty idiot cited him as proof of some stupid claim about Trump just last week.)
You'd fit right in, mac. |

Because everyone in Jersey is in the mob, seriously?
Do honestly think this woman went to jail for Christie?
It was a traffic jam, not four dead Americans and an orchestrated cover up.
You really do have twisted priorities |
