Thailand - Hua Hin
Launch off a long sand beach into small waves and side-on wind 15 - 20 knots. Bigger swells outside the headland. Hua Hin has the best and longest wind season in Thailand.
Wind season: November - May
Rentals: limited rentals at Club Aldiana Siam
Getting there: 3 hours drive south-west of Bangkok

I sailed the north shore of Ko Samui back in 92. Its an overnight train from Bangkok, but well worth the trip - great beaches, friendly people and excellent nightlife. A lot like Carabete if you have ever been there. Limited rentals when I was there but that may have changed.
Good luck! |
