Im preparing to purchase a 6.0 Gaastra GTX and a 5.0 Gaastra Pulse and am seeking rigging instructions.
Were the rigging numbers on the sail pretty accurate?
Did you happen to use a Pulley hook or just loop through the grommet when attaching the outhaul?
Does anyone have any insight as to the rigging instructions for either of these sails? I took a quick look on Gaastra.com and didnt see anything right away. Havent posted this question to their Forum yet either.
Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
You just have to rig it in the yard and use trial & error until the sail gets to a shape that looks satisfactory. I know this may seem vague. Rig it like you rigged your previous sails & then go out on the water & tweak until its right for your sailing style. I know, youre thinking Gee, thanks for the help.
